Tips for preparing NEET physics
Typically students find it very difficult when it comes to NEET Physics preparation as it involves a broad range of theoretical concepts and numerical problems connected with each idea. The analysis conducted by NEET Physics 2019 reveals that most of the questions were focused on numerical problems with detailed calculations. The physics section was not only harder and comparatively longer than the other sections.
Only studying principles are not appropriate for NEET Physics. Students must thoroughly grasp the concepts and learn the application of principles to numerical problems.
NEET Physics contains a total of 45 questions summarizing the amount of 180 examination marks. Here are a few insights into the exam as well as some key points that can help students offer their preparations a realistic edge.
The 2020 NEET (UG) will consist of a minimum of 180 Multiple Choice Questions, with four choices and one correct answer, which will be 720 points. 45 Class XI & XII NCERT Syllabus questions (29 Chapters) will be posed in Physics, minus the ‘Communication system’ portion.
Each question is labelled with 04 marks. The applicant would earn 04 (four) marks for any right answer / best choice. 01(one) mark will be removed from the overall score for each wrong answer. To answer a question, the applicant will consider the right answer / better response for each question.
Tips for preparing NEET physics:
Focus on the Basics:
The section of physics applies to theoretical concepts and numerical problems. Getting good fundamental skills is also a must. It is also essential to focus on your problem solving and implementation skills to achieve a successful outcome in physics.
Start solving Test Series:
Some of the easiest approaches to prepare for these tests as NEET is by solving a test series. Test Series comprises of many assessments focused on the real structure of the study. This requires a number of various kinds of questions that can be included in the test. It strengthens the abilities of your test taking, helps determine your degree of readiness and increases your pace and precision.
Emphasis on the More Weighted Chapters:
With two months to go to NEET-UG 2020 it is necessary to plan smartly by concentrating on more weighted chapters. It will further improve the preparedness and save revision time.
To get acquainted with the exam model, students will practice the question papers of previous years thoroughly. NEET Archive offers exposure to the questions of the past 10 years. While Practicing these questions will enable you to understand the degree of questions varying and complexity.
Create a separate notebook for all formulas you like. For them to learn every day. Based on such formulas, study more and more questions. Besides that, memorize all of the relevant concepts and concentrate on the fundamentals. You will fix just about any question as you learn these two.
Must – Practice Chapters:
|System of particles and rotational motion||Semiconductor|
|Current electricity||Laws of motion|
|Ray optics and optical instrument||Dual Nature of Radiation and Matte|
|Work, energy and power||Waves|
|Mechanical properties of solids and fluids||Wave optics|
Must read books:
Concepts in Physics by H.C. Verma Vol. I & II is the most preferred book other than the NCERT textbook. For Modern Physics particularly Semiconductors, the NCERT textbook is a must. Students should go through the NCERT textbook extensively, and solve both NCERT Class XI & XII Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Very Brief Answer Type Questions (VSAQs).
